Collingwood and Geelong are at the top of the ladder. Fremantle is not too far away. These three teams have been playing great footy this year. On the flip side Hawthorn, Adelaide and Richmond line the bottom three of the ladder. Richmond have gone 8 straight without a win. Oh no. Too bad for them since I'm not going to tip them to win at all.
The following are my footy tipping tips this week for Round 9:
Match 1: Collingwood vs Geelong Selection: Geelong by 30 pts
Match 2: North Melbourne vs Western Bulldogs Selection: Western Bulldogs
Match 3: Sydney vs Fremantle Selection: Sydney
Match 4: Melbourne vs Port Adelaide Selection: Port Adelaide
Match 5: Essendon vs Richmond Selection: Essendon
Match 6: Adelaide vs Brisbane Selection: Brisbane
Match 7: Carlton vs Hawthorn Selection: Carlton
Match 8: West Coast vs St Kilda Selection: West Coast
Yes, my two favourite teams are going head to head this round. Melbourne and Port Adelaide. Even though I am a Melbourne supporter I don't see them winning this week because of their injuries. Bruce isn't playing and he used to go to the same high school as me. Yes, it's true.
So there you have it, my footy tipping for this weeks Round 9 are for all to see. I'm going for that elusive 8. I've got 6 for the past three rounds which is great but not awesome. For me to get on top of the ladder in footy tipping I need to average over 6. It will be hard but it's possible. Getting three 8's in a row will boast me back up to higher than 6 average.
